For those of you who are standing still, for those who have not yet taken action on your dreams and started your business, I’ve got a secret for you... it’s not the idea that matters, it’s you. Ideas don’t make great businesses, people do. So stop looking for the answer externally.

Explore You. Explore what business ownership could mean for You - as an individual with unique circumstances and goals. Forget the old notions of “what it takes”. You have what it takes to make Your unique business dreams come true. Because despite what we are told, the “hard stuff” is the “soft stuff”.

It’s about who’s turning the idea into reality, not the resources or the idea itself. It’s about emotion, independence, creativity, passion.

So, this year, give yourself permission to discover who you are and what you love to do. Take time to cultivate what is within you and explore what is innately true about You. This process is critical to finding the work that is right for you.

Remember, being an Innerpreneur is about brand You. You are the ultimate predictor of your success. Your gifts, your values, your passions, and what you want and need from the business are what matters. It’s who shapes and molds it that matters, the rest of the “stuff” can be learned.
