Adèle

A perfect day for Adèle Basheer would be spent with people chatting and philosophising about life.

It's this desire to connect with others and express her feelings in words that led Adèle and her husband Jamie to create a business that is all about inspiring others and capturing in words what others may struggle to say.

Adèle has the unique ability of expressing messages in an authentic and compassionate way - a way that touches a chord with people from all walks of life.

She has written hundreds of sayings for countless occasions.  As she says, "when I write a card, it is usually inspired by someone I know, an issue a friend is going through or even what I am personally experiencing at the time."

A mum to Sam and Livvi, Adèle tells of a life history that could be spoken by a person twice her age. Brought up by her Mum, with two brothers and a sister, Adèle had lived in 27 houses by her eighth birthday.

A dynamic and driven person, the nature of her childhood fostered a desire to live her life positively and proactively, through taking risks and simply by "having a go".

For Adèle, life is all about "showing up on the page". "You may not know where to begin or where it will lead you, but as long as you show up, you are half way there," she said.

If there's a moment to spare in her busy life, Adèle loves to indulge her interest in music, photography and sharing special moments with family and friends. And she always makes time to meditate. "Meditating - that's what keeps it all together."
