Sarah
(aka Sar Sar)

Job: Story teller – I tell the story of Intrinsic, its products and vision and I also tell the inspiring stories of everyday people for our website.
When I started: July 2003
Favourite thing about Intrinsic: The family feel and the big dreams.
My fondest childhood memory
So many…bush barbeques with my grandparents, riding a trike around our orange property, learning to waterski at Lake Bonney in Barmera, playing tennis with my Dad, swimming every summer afternoon at the Ramco Primary School pool…
My parents always told me
To use people’s names when I said hello
My first paid job
Cutting apricots…then picking rockmelons…then teaching swimming…then working in the intimate apparel department at John Martin’s!
If I had a super power

I’d wiggle my nose like Sam on Bewitched and the shopping, washing, cleaning and cooking would be done in an instant!
Savoury or sweet?
Savoury…with a little chocolate on the side
Diamonds or pearls?
Diamonds
If I won a million dollars, I would
Pay for our home renovation and then visit our friends in the United Kingdom.
On my last holiday I went to
Burra Gorge on a camping weekend
The best part of my job at Intrinsic is
Brainstorming sessions. I love coming up with new marketing and product ideas.
I couldn’t live without

My ugg boots during winter in chilly Clare
My ancestors come from
Scotland
My stripper name is (first pet name plus first street name)
Bogey Perry
My favourite flower is
David Austin roses and freesias
My most memorable fancy dress costume
Toto, the dog out of the Wizard of Oz
Sporting trophies I’ve won
“The Boob Cup”…not to be confused with a “Booby Prize”… is the most recent addition. It was awarded to my husband and I after winning a casual tennis tournament in a little country town called Booborowie in the mid north of South Australia.

Academic awards I’ve won
I was a bit of a square at school, so I have a few high school academic awards
My pet(s)
Daisy, our seven-year-old, much-neglected-since-having-children golden retriever
My dream home
As we’re currently renovating, my dream home is one that is finished!
Hobbies
Home decorating, reading, tennis
The last time I stayed up all night
Never – I’m an eight-hours-a-night girl.
My most cherished possession
My grandmother’s engagement ring and the bracelet she gave me before she died.
