The world’s colour genius, Pantone, has announced PANTONE 15-5519 Turquoise as the colour of the year for 2010, and we think they're spot on. Turquoise, a colour favoured by both men and women, is soothing to our souls and well-being, it evokes a sense of calm and peace and it takes us to a tropical paradise where we can relax and daydream. Able to be paired with almost all other hues in the spectrum, turquoise really is the colour for every fashion princess (or prince), home decorator, ‘traveling wilbury’ and Intrinsic fan.

Love Quotes brings you the piece needed in all wardrobes for any season : the linen scarf. In a colour described as Tuscan Gardens, feel refreshed as you wrap this Turkey-made creation around you. Even better, each scarf comes with a love quote to give you the warm and fuzzies. If that's not enough, 10% of Love Quote's profits go to children’s charities. Now that's spreading the love!

Anna Plunkett and Luke Sales said ‘no’ to an internship with Galliano in order to pursue their own fashion dreams: the creation of Romance Was Born. Never one to follow the mainstream and always there to provide quirky creations, the label is constantly creating collections full of ‘must-have’ pieces. We've got our eyes on these Seaside Shorts, perfect for fun summer days or casual outdoor dinner parties. The love is expected to last a long time with Romance Was Born.

Every girl needs a pair of pretty sandals: a pair that will match any outfit to dress it up or dress it down. Well, voilà, we have found the pair. These Delman Tigras Sandals will ensure you breeze through each step. Topped with authentic semiprecious stones in that colour we all love (turquoise, bien sûr), Delman has made the task of finding the perfect pair of summer flats a cinch.

The maxi dress and the tunic dress. They're flattering, floaty and for fun in the sun, they are a must! Coast and Paul & Joe Sister have both caught our eye for these respective dress styles and we think you may be just as dazzled by them as we are. The Jennifer Maxi Dress from Coast is a silk number which sings a sweet note of summer style. We then present Paul & Joe Sister's Benin Silk Embroidered Tunic Dress which dazzles with 100% silk and divine, colourful embroidery detail. Both are available in the colour that soothes our spirits.

If it hasn’t already begun, get set to commence your love affair with Australian jewellery label Riley Burnett. Designer Jennie Riley and partner Jason Burnett began the business a short time after returning home from a year- long trip to Italy and Greece, where Italian boutiques snapped up unique pieces Jennie had made along the journey. Today, Riley Burnett is a brand synonymous with originality and quality, bold colour, inspiring shape and one-of-a-kind pieces. The Aqua Slinky, handcrafted from howlite, turquoise and sterling silver, is just one of the many designs we love!

Born in 1975, Sophie Griotto is a designer hailing from the south of France, whose art studies took her to Nîmes, Toulouse and Paris. Her illustrations are inspired by modern day urban women, portrayed with a sense of sheer style. In Griotto's works, the viewer’s eye is not drawn into sharp lines, but rather a plethora of colours that are sure to brighten up any room.
